New Year's and Christmas stories by future Russian classics

"New Year's and Christmas stories of future Russian classics" is a collection of holiday stories compiled by Maya Kucherskaya and Irina Zhukova. The book includes texts by graduates of the master's program at the Higher School of Economics "Literary Craftsmanship" and literary workshops of the Creative Writing School, the "Band" school, and the literary club of the Union of Russian Writers. Despite the diversity of themes, styles, and even the level of authors, ranging from beginners to mature writers, their characters invariably emerge from all adversities alive and unharmed. This is how it should be: this is the requirement of the holiday genre. The works have undergone expert evaluation by experienced literary mentors and editors. These stories demonstrate the development of the literary tradition and may, in the future, become part of the golden fund of Russian classics.
