New styles of painting. XIX century

The development of fine art in the XIX century at first glance seems slim and uniform: classicism, sentimentalism, romanticism, realism replace each other, rejecting outdated and carefully retaining achievements. In fact, everything was more difficult. The image of art is folded as a mosaic, from a plurality of multi-colored particles, and this process is infinite. However, the mosaic is an incorrect comparison. Rather, the stained glass windwire, in which each glass occupies its place, and everything together is a beautiful integer.
Such a comparison involuntarily occurs when you think about new styles in the painting of the XIX century. This volume is dedicated to the art of saseans and Japanese ukiu-e, modern and symbolism, surrealism and expressionism
