The album is released to the exhibition designed to draw attention to the phenomenon that can be defined as a turn to the narration. Painting with a developed narrative principle was traditionally ignored in recent decades for "literaryity". Meanwhile, the story, this time in a new conceptual context, in the last decade increasingly attracts modern artists. As a history of the topic, declared in the name of the exhibition, presented narratives in the nature of such well-known masters of Soviet painting, like K.Petrov-Vodkin, A. Lititin, A.Lacton, Yu.Neprintsev.
