Jid Parma has been a follower of pagan tradition for over ten years. He founded a pagan community, conducts seminars, and lectures on topics related to the new spirituality. The decision to write a book dedicated to pagan culture came to the author after many unsuccessful attempts to find materials on this topic. In the end, Jid Parma combined his accumulated knowledge of the history and ethics of paganism from years of work and his personal experience. He experienced firsthand what it means to be a solitary pagan and a member of a pagan community.

The author, Jid Parma, is an initiated priest, shaman, and one of the founders of the Mother coven in the Wildwood Wiccan tradition in Brisbane, Australia. He has been a follower of pagan tradition for over ten years. Jid grew up in a family with rich spiritual traditions: his father was a carrier of the Hindu tradition, and his mother had a deep understanding of life. He is a strict vegetarian (vegan) and a member of the Australian Church of All Worlds. He conducts seminars, lectures, and together with his coven, performs rituals at several Australian pagan events. He also practices Tarot card reading and palmistry.
