New Spanish-Russian dictionary of sports terms (with definitions and comments)

The proposed dictionary, consisting of two parts, published as separate books, contains more than 12,000 terms in each part, reflecting more than 30 summer and winter Olympic and non-Olympic sports, some new types that have appeared in recent years in the world and Russia, as well as general sports and related vocabulary. Practically in none of the Russian-Spanish dictionaries will users find such a collection of sports neologisms (for example, "aquabike", "windsurfer", "skateboard", "snowmobile", etc.) in their modern translation into Spanish and correct spelling. These words, combinations, and expressions are used in various Russian, Spanish, and Latin American publications and materials on sports topics. Attention is paid to words that are borrowed in the Spanish language, their Spanish equivalents, sports professionalism, and jargon. Many terms are provided with explanations, brief definitions, and grammatical notes.
The dictionary is intended for Russian and foreign translators, teachers, postgraduate students, students, athletes, coaches, referees, fans, commentators, journalists, managers, all workers associated with the sports field, and readers interested in sports.
