New piano playing school

The main goal of the collection is to teach preschool and early school-age children to play the piano. Nowadays, children start learning at the age of 5 or even younger, rather than at 6-7 years old as it used to be, so there is a need for new textbooks designed for this age group. It is very important that from the very first lessons, the child not only listens to music but can also play something themselves, which is why this School pays great attention to the initial period of learning. The new school consists of three sections covering educational material from preparatory to the 3rd grade of a children's music school. The foundation of the collection is the 'golden' fund of children's piano literature, both domestic and foreign piano classics, without which the development of a young musician is impossible. The first part of the School is a piano primer, which includes a completely new educational material for learning the keyboard and music notation. Its presence distinguishes this manual from previously published ones, where the section dedicated to the initial period of learning is practically absent or minimized. The songs presented in this part are understandable even to the youngest musicians, easy to perform, and convenient for singing. The amount of material offered for mastering the basic techniques of playing the instrument is sufficient for reinforcing the acquired knowledge and skills. The first part of the School is illustrated to develop children's imaginative and associative thinking. The verbal text combined with pictures stimulates the child's imagination, allows discussing the content of the song with them, and trying to convey it in a musical language. The two subsequent parts are structured according to the principles of traditional collections for beginners. The second section is intended for students in the 1st and 2nd grades. It includes all the necessary sections of the program, and the repertoire is arranged by increasing complexity. Traditionally used works by classical composers and arrangements of folk songs are supplemented with new pieces by contemporary composers. The third part contains pedagogical repertoire for students in the 2nd and 3rd grades. It also includes all sections of the program: polyphonic works, large forms, pieces, and etudes.
