The development of literature and culture is usually considered as the activities of individual representatives - often in line with a certain direction, school, flow, style, etc. If we are talking about "personal relationships, it is understood mainly interference and continuity or, on the contrary, struggle and controversy. But there are other, more complex forms of community. For Russia, in the first half of the XIX century, it is primarily a circle and family. As part of these associations, the factor of influence or controversy is also important, as well as belonging to the direction. However, the factors of daily personal communications, friendly and related links, sometimes intimate, love relationships have no less important. The book presents the Circle of N. Stankevich, from which such wonderful figures, like V. Belinsky, M. Bakunin, V. Krasov, I. Krasovnikov, T. Granovsky, and such an original phenomenon as an Aksakov family, which gave birth to the original writer S. T. Aksakov, bright poets, critics and publicists K. and I. Aksakov. Many figures of Russian culture were associated with it
