“Top View” is a unique project that introduces readers to the view effect, inviting them to look at the Earth from a height and experience the feelings of astronauts watching the planet from the space station.
This publication continues the conversation about the beauty and fragility of the Earth, begun in the first book of B. Grant - View from above: amazing pictures of the Earth from satellites. Images obtained using satellites and aerial photography show how our planet is changing under the influence of nature forces and large -scale human activity, and this is not always a change for the better. The authors raise issues of the inevitable increase in environmental problems: global warming, destruction of forests, consequences of excessive consumption, soil, air and water pollution.
Many photos are made by the Timelaps method - are a series of consistent pictures with a certain interval between them. This allows you to clearly see the speed of changes taking place in different parts of the world, and to realize that our planet needs care and protection. Only by understanding the measure of personal responsibility of everyone, will we be able to maintain natural wealth and the unique landscape of our universal house
