The training manual is based on the classification of protective processes based on their patterns and methods of implementation regardless of the type of environment (atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere) For the first time on a single methodological basis, the processes of protecting the human habitat from pollutants of various nature and energy influences are considered. Much attention is paid to thermodynamics, kinetics and equilibrium of protective processes. Examples of solutions to problems that allow you to understand the theory of processes are given. The criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of protective processes and the theoretical principles of their organization are expanded.
