Training materials are intended for the training of students in grades 3-4 for the diagnosis of skilled reading skills of scientific and cognitive texts. Studying the key topics of the Course “The World” (the “Man and Nature” section), students work with texts about natural areas, their climate, soils, plant and animal world, that is, they systematize the material that is necessary for the successful writing of all -Russian verification work. With the help of special tasks with teaching tips, students master the most complex skills: to identify subtext information, establish the causes and consequences of phenomena and events, and understand the main idea of ​​the text.
