Theoretical and experimental development of a new approach to the analysis of development biology is presented. The approach is based on two ideas: 1) an elementary unit of multicellularity is not a cell, but a cell group (hyistion) that occurs as a result of the separation of functions between cells, 2) tissue is regular cellular networks (Connectomas) that occur as a result of polymerization of hyistions.
The development of the first idea made it possible to build many different histions, to obtain parameters to measure their development and build their natural system in the form of a periodic table. The development of the second idea made it possible to build a family of models of spatial organization of fabrics. These models can predict the directions of tissue development. Their justice is confirmed experimentally. The results obtained open up the prospect of building predictive three -dimensional histology.
