In the new book, the famous writer Oleg Bundur, laureate of the prize named after P.P. Ershov, the V. Bianchi Prize and other literary awards, tells young readers about the Arctic. This is not the first time the author is addressing this topic: in his creative biography there are already lovers who were loved by young readers and the books about the Russian North - "Visiting the White Bear", "Tsarskoye Sea", "in our Far North".
The boundaries of the Arctic are outlined by the northern polar circle. To the North Pole from it - two thousand six hundred kilometers ... In addition to the Arctic Ocean, the Arctic includes the Arctic seas. There are only six of them - this is only the Russian Arctic seas: white, Barents, Kara, the Laptev Sea, the East Siberian and Chukchi Seas. And only one of them does not freeze - Barentsvo. Why? Why does the great Siberian wormwood freeze? How long does a year last in the Arctic? Why can"t you get a sore throat in the Arctic? And what will happen to the ice, given that global warming is approaching? Hundreds of questions, riddles and secrets ...
The book is addressed to children of middle and senior school age and illustrated by genuine photographs and documents on the history of the development of the Arctic.
The book designed photographs of D. Lobousov, captain of the icebreaker "50 years of Victory". The publishing house thanks Dmitry Viktorovich for help in creating a book.
And also the book uses photos of the Kandalaksha labyrinth V. Ziblova and the materials of the photobank Shutterstock
