This training manual outlines theoretical foundations and practical recommendations for human security in everyday life and work. Security problems due to the presence of risks, dangers and threats are disclosed. The theory of reliability is described, which is the theoretical basis of security. Particular attention is paid to a wide range of issues of protecting people in emergency situations. The value in the security system of the human factor is set out. Considerations of security management, legislative and regulatory acts are given. For an in -depth study in the training manual, methods of preventing and eliminating emergency situations are disclosed, including using the principles and methods of logistics. The content of the teaching aid corresponds to the current GEF - the Federal State Educational Standards of Higher Education.
