Physico-chemical processes in the technosphere. Teaching and practical guide

The manual complies with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard in the direction of preparation 03/20/01 "Technosphere safety and environmental development".
The basic information about physicochemical processes in the technosphere is set out. Representations are given about the processes of transformation of natural and anthropogenic contaminants in the atmosphere, hydrosphere, pedosphere. The physico-chemical mechanisms of the greenhouse effect, the destruction of the ozone layer, the formation of photochemical smog, the formation of acid rains, and the technosphere’s pollution with heavy metals are considered. Attention pays attention to the unique source of fresh water to Lake Baikal. Practical work is presented.
