The methodological manual describes the principles of organizing competitions in which children can tell about their own research, and their significance for the development of the child. It is told how the work of the organizing committee and the jury should be built, examples of the regulations on the competition, conference programs, and annotations of research projects are given. The characteristic mistakes made by the scientific advisers of children"s research projects - parents and teachers are analyzed. Examples of classes with the smallest researchers - preschool children are also given. The importance of the formation of environmental culture in children and the basics of biosphere thinking is emphasized, and from a very early age.
The manual was developed following the results of many years of work of authors to develop and implement research programs together with schools and kindergartens, as well as on the basis of a competition of research projects with the participation of children under 10-12 years old, conducted in 2015 on the instructions of the Moscow collection within the framework programs "MSU-School".
The manual is intended for teachers and parents and is recommended for the publication by the Scientific Council of the Research Institute of Physical and Chemical Biology named after A.N. Belozersky Moscow State University
