In the training manual, an overview of the current regulatory documentation in the field of water use and sanitary safety of water bodies was carried out. The main methods for calculating the multiplicity of the initial and basic dilution in rivers, freshwater and sea reservoirs are given. Examples of constructive solutions of wastewater and their heads are given, as well as a methodology for hydraulic calculation of these structures. Attention is paid to integral indicators of water quality.
