The monograph describes the methodology for assessing the vulnerability of landscapes to external influences. A comparative analysis of the concepts of "stability", "sensitivity", "vulnerability" in relation to natural complexes was carried out. A review of existing methods for evaluating the vulnerability of natural complexes is presented. The author’s methodology for assessing the vulnerability of landscapes to anthropogenic influences is described. The methodology is based on: the choice and justification of the criteria for assessing the vulnerability of landscapes, the preparation of the parametric matrix and the gradation of the evaluation criteria in accordance with the developed classes of vulnerability, the calculation of the weight coefficients of the vulnerability assessment, the choice of the optimal territorial unit assessment of the vulnerability of landscapes. The technique is implemented among GIS "Assessment of the vulnerability of the landscapes of the Kaliningrad region to anthropogenic influences", created by the authors using modern geoinformation products. The specifics of spatial differentiation of landscapes of various vulnerability to anthropogenic influences at the regional and local levels were revealed. It was stated that the use of the methodology for assessing the vulnerability of landscapes to anthropogenic influences and its integration into the environmental management system will ensure a balanced accounting of geoecological characteristics and environmental priorities in territorial planning.
