The proposed manual is intended for teachers of biology and university students studying in the specialties of the pedagogical direction (profile "Biology") It contains general issues of biology training in high school and methodological recommendations for conducting training sessions (lessons, laboratory work, lectures, seminars, excursions) with students in biology at the basic level in 11th grades. The sequence of classes is given in accordance with the author’s program, thematic planning and the chapters of the textbook "Biology. Biological systems and processes" for 11th grades A.V. Teremova, R.A. Petrosova.
The manual examines the organization of the educational process in biology in general educational organizations based on second-generation Federal State Educational Standards, give detailed development of training sessions, a list of typical educational equipment, a list of recommended literature and a catalog of Internet resources are given. The manual is recommended to be used in the training of teachers and students for conducting biology lessons, as well as in practical classes in the system of additional professional education, advanced training and retraining of pedagogical personnel
