This leadership is devoted to global ecology (GE) - a section of ecology, which is dealing with the biosphere in the framework of the global ecosystem of the planet. This global ecosystem also includes a lithosphere, hydrosphere, cryosphere and pedosphere, it constantly interacts with humanity, also called the anthroposfer, which includes the technosphere and noosphere (the sphere of reason) It is emphasized that a person’s activity causes serious global environmental problems, an example of which is pollution of air, water and soil, dining of global biodiversity, depletion of drinking water resources, dexidity, desertification and global climate change.
A strategy aimed at improving the global environment is called sustainable development and is officially defined as development that meets the needs of the present without prejudice to the ability of future generations to satisfy their own needs. Sustainable development is aimed at achieving goals in the development of human potential while maintaining the ability of natural systems to ensure natural resources and ecosystem services, on which the economy and society depend. The potential role of decentralized network structures in the implementation of sustainable development goals is emphasized. The blockchain system is of no small importance in this connection, especially if virtual currencies are used.
