Geography of soils. A common part. Textbook

The textbook sets out the main issues of the general part of the discipline Geography of soils. The content, methods, methodology, tasks of discipline, morphological signs of soils, structural levels of the organization of soils and soil cover are revealed. The main provisions of the theory of genesis, the characteristics of soil -forming processes are set out. Modern classification constructions in the works of Russian and foreign soil schools are considered, a correlation of the classification of soils of Russia and the world abstract base (WRB) is given. The basic laws of soil geography, the doctrine of soil formation factors, on soil and geographical zoning are presented. Much attention is paid to the structure of the soil cover (SPP) and methods of its study.
