The characteristics of the main types of pollution of environmental components, environmental criteria and standards are given, classification of methods, methods and processes of engineering ecology to protect the atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere from chemical and physical types of pollution. The basic laws of environmental engineering processes are considered: atmospheric air from emissions of aerosols, harmful gases and vapors, wastewater treatment from impurities, protection of lithosphere from industrial and household waste, the basics of processes and means of protection against energy influences are outlined. The presented material is supplemented by practical examples of the technological parameters of the processes of engineering ecology. The educational aid is intended for the preparation of ecologists and compiled in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of the third generation in the specialty 02.20.01 “Rational use of environmental complexes” according to the programs of professional modules MDK.02 “Natural Proceedings and the Environmental Production and Model Environmental Protection ”and MDK 02.01“ Industrial Ecology and Industrial Radiocology ”.
