The textbook was developed in accordance with the UN program of the UNP "On the creation of a global environmental monitoring system" and decrees of the Government of the Russian Federation 2003, 2013. "On the organization and implementation of state monitoring of the environment." Its content meets the requirements of the state standard of higher professional education in the field of training "Biology".
The target orientation of the textbook is the training of specialists of the biological direction and is implemented by the tasks of organizing and maintaining a system of integrated monitoring of environmental management resources. It is considered as a means of monitoring and managing the rational use of natural resources and developing the environmental management strategy. This is a new scientific and practical direction. There are no analogues, which is confirmed by the results of checking the manuscript by the Anti -Plagiard program.
