The training manual was prepared in accordance with the state educational standard in the direction of "ecology and nature management" and is intended for students of higher educational institutions studying in this area and other areas of environmental and environmental education ("technosphere safety", "environmental assistance and water use"), at the level Bachelor. The content, properties, methods of compiling and using maps necessary in the field of environmental management and environmental support of economic activity: topographic, geological, soil, forest, hydrological, climatic, landscape, cadastral, as well as territorial planning and urban planning maps were characterized. Particular attention is paid to the content and methods of creating environmental maps. At the same time, theoretical information is reduced to the necessary minimum, and problems and discussion issues are lowered as possible. Preemptant attention is paid to illustrative material (83 drawings, mainly a cartographic nature) and the performance of practical works (15 works) The practical work contained in the manual can be supplemented by similar options using local (regional) materials, including published in state reports and available on the sites of state -owned management in the regions
