Environmental crimes encroaching on the safety of water bodies. Characteristic

The work is devoted to an urgent and practically significant problem - criminal offset of crimes encroaching on the safety of water bodies. A characteristic of the legal regime of water bodies and the legal protection of water at the international and national levels is given, threats to the safety of water bodies and their reflection in administrative and criminal legislation are shown, and the corpus delicti under Art. 250 and 252 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the criteria for their distinction from similar administrative and legal delicti are determined, proposals are formulated to improve criminal law norms and the practice of their application.
