Nowadays, there is hardly a sphere of knowledge that would not use the concept of “energy”. From the sphere of physical, technological and (bio) chemical knowledge “energy” penetrated both related areas, such as medicine or ecology, and in the field, which would seem far from natural science, theology and psychoanalysis, aesthetics and linguistics, sociology and political discourse . In the process of translation from some scientific languages to others, this concept has undergone numerous semantic shifts and transfers that turned it into a semantically rich symbol with which the fundamental political, environmental and cultural processes of our time associate. The reconstruction of the bizarre paths of migrations of this concept, as well as the phenomenon standing behind it, is devoted to a collection that included the work of the British, Israeli, German, Russian and Swiss researchers
