The textbook is written in accordance with the current Botany course for students of pharmaceutical academies and pharmaceutical faculties of medical universities. When selecting educational material, the authors relied on their many years of experience in teaching botany at the pharmaceutical faculty of the First MGMU named after THEM. Sechenov and sought to state software material in a brief form. Given the modern data, sections on the anatomy, morphology and systematics of plants are compiled. In the section "Cistematics" in the new interpretation, two kingdoms are considered: prototystists and mushrooms. When creating a textbook, the authors sought to improve the quality of illustrative material.
This publication differs from all other Botany textbooks with its clarity. For the first time, a textbook for students of higher professional education institutions has color illustrations in all sections of anatomy and plant systematics. Respecting modern requirements, in addition to the presentation of theoretical material, it contains questions for self -training of students and test tasks in all sections of botany.
