The textbook for grade 10 begins the well -known line of the teaching materials for biology (basic level) "classic course" and meets the requirements of the main educational program posted on the website www.fgosreestr.ru, meets the basic curriculum in biology (in the amount of 1 hour/week) and author"s work program. The line was created by the author’s team of the Siberian branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, ed. Belyaeva D.K. and Dymshitsa G.M. And it is aimed at developing the ability to write abstracts and essays, preparing messages, presentations, as well as critically evaluate the existing among the population and in the media speculative and incompetent views on some achievements and possibilities of modern biology. The course was built on the principle of a level organization of life. This textbook includes sections: cell, reproduction and development of organisms, the basics of genetics and selection. In the proposed biology course, the general goal of education is realized - the formation and development of personality traits that meet the needs of modern society. The content of textbooks is built on subject material, which meets the modern scientific level. The material that is not part of the basic level program is highlighted as an additional one. At the beginning of paragraphs, concepts subject to assimilation are listed. A versatile and capacious methodological apparatus stimulates the formation of the cognitive needs of students. The questions and tasks given after paragraphs provide for the self -test of students, and also actualize the basic knowledge before studying new material
