The textbook is included in the system of educational and methodical sets "Algorithm for success" and is intended for students in grade 10 educational organizations studying biology at the basic level.
The study of biology begins with the molecular level of organization of living matter and will be completed by a biosphere level in grade 11. The content part is represented by two components. The material of paragraphs marked in green corresponds to the educational minimum at the basic level of training and is designed for 35 academic hours. In blue, additional material is highlighted. It can be used in schools where 70 hours a year stand out for biology training in 10th grade. It is also intended for students who have chosen biology for passing the exam.
The main content is four chapters devoted to the introduction to science and the study of different levels of organization of living matter: molecular, cellular and organismal. To organize independent work and self -testing at the end of each paragraph and each chapter, differentiated tasks are given that contribute to the diverse and multilevel activities of students.
