The proposed manual is a brief, but capacious presentation of the main information on the anatomy and physiology of human, which are the most important part of the school biology course. The publication is intended for high school students, as well as all those who decided to pass the exam in biology or other forms of entrance examinations associated with entering medical, biological, psychological and some other universities. The manual is written by a team of authors - teachers of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, who have many years of experience in teaching the corresponding sections of biology to schoolchildren at various levels: from ordinary secondary schools to the prefabricated final stage of the All -Russian Olympiads. The authors consistently characterize all the systems of the human body: musculoskeletal, immune, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, excretory, etc. Particular attention is paid to complex issues of school biology related to the regulation of the activity of the listed systems due to the control signals of the brain and the work of the endocrine glands. The themes of the structure and functions of the nervous system, as well as the physiological foundations of mental processes are revealed in the final part of the manual.
