The training manual contains the morphobiological and environmental characteristics of the toothy (Belukha, Narval, Killed and Spncil) and mustachioed (gray whale, Greenland whale) whales. Key morphophysiological adaptations of these types to water conditions and their origin are shown. The information regarding the history of whaling, as well as the use of animal raw materials received from whales, has been collected. A apparent summary is presented, reflecting the basic biological features of whales. Original data on the dentist system of Narval and the sperm whale are given.
The manual includes control issues and workshops.
