The spring choir of frogs, the buzz of bees in the summer noon, the dance of autumn leaves, bird traces in winter snow - this begins our acquaintance with nature in childhood.
This book will reveal to your child a poetically spiritual world of nature: shells in the sand and shining stars in the sky, squirrels, ducks and moths, preparing a berry pie and treats for birds. Here, as in a home -made album, poems and notes about the seasons, animals and plants, recipes and interesting observations are collected, which remind us that the full miracles and mysteries of the world are waiting for us very close - we only need to go beyond the threshold of the house.
The subtle lyricism of the text of the children"s writer and naturalist Nikolaa Davis and the excellent illustrations of the young talented artist Mark Herld recreated the beauty of nature, that beauty that opens only a careful and loving gaze.
From the author
I temporarily rejected my adult "I" and remembered myself at the age of five to six years. And then I again saw the world as it seemed to me in childhood. These are not only visual images, but also the sensations that walked through me with the force of surf. Consider that this book was written by a little girl who met the dawn in the field, feeling how the world rotates
