The textbook is designed for implementation in the 11th grade of the subject "Native (Russian) Literature" from the subject area "Native Language and Literature," which is part of the compulsory curriculum for secondary school. The textbook maintains continuity with the program "Native Literature (Russian)" for grades 5-9 and aims to complete the formation of students' understanding of Russian literature as a preserver of the historical and cultural experience of the Russian people. In accordance with the course program, the textbook includes works of Russian literature with high moral and aesthetic value, the analysis and interpretation of which contribute to revealing the connection of Russian literature with national history, forming a culture of reader perception, and achieving reader independence for students.
