The monograph examines the prerequisites for the emergence of payment systems, analyzes the legal aspects of the national payment system of Russia and its place in the payment turnover, considers the theoretical foundations of payment turnover and its elements. Issues related to the payment mechanism of the national payment system are discussed, definitions of key concepts and categories are formulated. Legislation is provided as of January 1, 2018.
