The monograph is devoted to a systematic presentation of properties, methods of synthesis and the possibilities of using porous silicon, nanocond and composite materials based on them. In detail the methods for obtaining nanocrystalline silicon and their comparative analysis was carried out. Electronic and optical properties are described, modern methods of research, which make it possible to describe the spectral and structural properties of this material with unique optical (absorption of radiation in the UV region and photoluminescence in the visible region of the spectrum) and electrophysical properties.
Considerable attention is paid to various areas of practical application: in UV protective coatings, bioanalyst and solar energy. The results of studies of transformation of properties, silicon nanoparticles, depending on the chemical composition of impurities appearing during the synthesis and finding nanoparticles in the air atmosphere.
