N. S. Leskov: A Classic in a Non-classic Light

The collection includes two initiates by N.S. Konzkov"s books created in the late 1890s - early 1920s, when the real discovery of the author "left-handed" and "Corolian" took place. The book A.L.Volshinsky "N.S. S.Lonzkov" was not reissued since 1923 and remained undeservedly forgotten. The extensive work of A.A.Ismailov "Leskov and his time", known earlier only a narrow circle of specialists, is published for the first time on the manuscript stored in the Pushkin House. Both author belong to the number of the most famous literary critics of the silver century.
