The economics textbook for 8th grade is a logical conclusion of three previous courses - 'Family Economics', 'School Economics', and 'Local Economics'. The course introduces students to various socio-economic roles inherent to individuals in public life: consumer and worker, taxpayer, etc. It discusses the problems people face in relation to each of these roles and suggests ways to overcome these problems. Recommended by the Methodological Council of the Institute of Content and Teaching Methods of the Russian Academy of Education.
