This book is devoted to the analysis of the methodology of the process of cognition and is a logical continuation and development of the ideas of the previous work of the authors "Cognitive image of the world: span for philosophy of education". A person learns the world surrounding him by representing - building models of reality, in which its most important characteristics are recorded. The consideration of this process is carried out in different planes of analysis: phylogenetic and ontogenetic aspects, the theory of social representation by S. Muscovy, the theory of personal constructs of J.A. Kelly, the theory of cognitive correspondence and dissonance, the theory of causal attribution of G. Kelly. At the same time, the authors attempted to establish the relationship between various cognitive theories.
