The identity of the general from Cavalry Alexei Alekseevich Brusylova occupies a special place in Russian history. The talented cavalier, the famous military leader of the First World War and, finally, the Supreme Commander for Temporary Government. In contrast to many generals of the imperial army A.A. Brusilov remained in Soviet Russia and even served as inspector of cavalry in the working and peasant Red Army, becoming the enemy for most of the former colleagues.
