Swami Vishnudevananda Giri is a Russian-speaking monk, who in the children"s and young years spontaneously had a deep experience of non-duality.
Inwicial texts, they are described as Nirvikalpa-Samadhi. In search of exercises that explained these experiments, he turns to Western philosophy, then becomes a follower of the teacher of the Indian tradition of Vishnuism, intensively following the path of devotion, which leads him to acquaintance with an even deeper esoteric tradition of Sahaja (Hindu tantra, assimilated the ideas of Buddhism Vajrayana) .
Long practice of contemplation and performing yogic technician for more than sixteen years old led Swami Vishnudevananda Giri to the deep personal experience of non-duality, leaving the living experience of the Great Truths described in traditional texts. During a long (about three years) ascetic practice in solitude (RiRita), he implemented the state of Sakhaj-Samadhi.
Swami Vishnudevananda Giri was devoted to the status of Mahamandaleshwara ancient Indian monastic order Juna-Akhara, the founder of which is Sri Adi Shankaracharya. During the initiation in 2010, he accepted the spiritual name of Herrotria Brahmanischtha Anant Sri Vibhushit Mahamandaleshwar Swami Vishnudevananda Giri Ji Maharaj
