The emergence of this textbook is due to the fact that the traditional program for musical literature for the School of School was published in 1956 and, without changing efficiently, then withstood several reprints (1962, 1970, 1979, 1982) Naturally, many attitudes and thematic plans for a standard program are outdated and do not meet the requirements of new approaches and methods of musical education of children. In recent years, other programs of the program, curricula that adapt the content of the course to the new historical and sociocultural conditions began to appear, to the new trends in the comprehensive aesthetic education of children. This textbook is based on many years of experience in teaching the subject “Musical literature” in the Children"s School, set out in copyright programs and methodological recommendations of E. Lisyanskaya, Yu. Ageeva, A. Khotuntsov, M. Kuklinskaya and others. Since the main tasks of the course of musical literature are the formation of the formation of Children of love and interest in serious musical art, understanding the basics of musical creativity, the development of their musical abilities, the purpose of the manual of the first year of training is to introduce children into the diverse world of musical concepts and knowledge. This manual introduces students to the means of musical expressiveness, various musical instruments, varieties of orchestras, vocal timbre. Separate classes are devoted to Russian folk musical culture - genre varieties of Russian songs and their use in professional music. The manual is completed by acquaintance with musical forms-from the simplest to cyclic and musical and theater. Given the fact that another task of the subject should be considered the preparation of active listeners and lovers of music, the guide includes a large amount of introductory material addressed to the wide masses of the children"s audience. Hence, the heading passing through all four manuals “tell that ..”, some materials are borrowed from the collection “Funny Anthrak: Curious stories from the life of musicians” / Comp. I. Artemchuk. - K.: Mus. Klekina, 1989 and other popular music publications. The generalizing classes includes some tasks and crosswords from the “Workbook on Musical Literature: 1st year of training”. Ostrovskaya Ya., Frolova L., Ces N. - St. Petersburg: Valeria SPD, 2002, as well as didactic materials L. Akimova, issue. 4. M.: Rosman, 2002
