Julius Shtokhausen (1826-1906) - an outstanding German singer (baritone), choral conductor, vocal teacher.
"Vocal School" (German. Gesangsmethode) was published in 1884. The Shtokhausen method, based on the deep understanding of the physiology of the voice apparatus and the laws of acoustics, as well as describing the methods of correctly vocalizing the sounds of the German language, and today is of great interest for historians of music and musicians-performers.
