For the first time, the collection saw the light in 1904 in New York. Its compiler of Eduardo Marzo (1852-1929) is an Italian pianist, organist, conductor, composer, music editor. Songs are given in a record designed for a voice accompanied by piano.
Original Italian texts are supplemented by an adaptive translation into Russian.
