This manual is addressed to students. It is part of the educational and methodological kit for social studies for the 8th grade created by the author’s team under the leadership of academician RAO L. N. Bogolyubov in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of basic general education. The notebooks present tasks of different levels of complexity aimed at implementing a system-activity approach. Some of the tasks are focused on organizing project activities, as well as the use of information and computer technologies.
