This collection is dedicated to the life and work of the pianist, teacher, composer, memoirist Alexander Borisovich Goldenweiser (1875-1961) It presents previously not published materials that reveal the topic of the musician’s relationship with the Moscow Conservatory, in which he served 55 years. The collection consists of three sections. The first presented the correspondence of Goldenweiser with colleagues at the conservatory, the second was placed in his diary of the first months of the war, in the third - the earliest version of his memoirs about the years of study at the conservatory. The book is supplemented by signs of works and musical editorial works of Goldenweiser, a list of records on the magnetic tape of his game, as well as a chronograph of the life and creativity of the musician, discography and a consolidated repertoire list specifically for this collection. The publication is addressed to professional musicians, as well as to everyone interested in the history of Russian musical culture.
