The material of the textbook "Fundamentals of Life Safety" is aimed at mastering students in grades 8-9 of educational organizations of practical behavior skills in dangerous, extreme and emergency situations. Students will not only learn about how not to get into trouble, but also acquire skills in behavior in case of difficult and dangerous situations that will help them maintain their lives and health and the one who is nearby. Particular attention is paid to the formation of a culture of safe life, based on the principle: The more likely the onset of a negative event, the more its risk, the higher the measures of protection should be.
The structure of the textbook is built according to the modular principle. The appendix to the textbook describes in detail the rules for providing first aid in emergency conditions.
A large number of illustrations and infographics, as well as additional materials of interdisciplinary nature, will allow students to master the necessary knowledge at the course and form a culture of safe life in everyday life.
The textbook was developed in accordance with the modern concept of teaching the subject "Fundamentals of Life Safety" in educational organizations of the Russian Federation that implement basic general educational programs (12/24/2018), its content fully takes into account the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of the Basic General education.
