Dynamic programming is a method for solving over -ground problems. This book differs from others devoted to dynamic programming in that it is considered, starting with the mathematical ideas that underlie it. Then the approach to the application of these ideas is gradually built. Moving from simpler tasks to more complicated, the reader learns about various ways to use dynamic programming, will understand how to apply these ideas in self -solving problems. The book has a set of exercises and tasks for solving paper and on a computer. Basically, the text of the book and tasks reflect modern Olympiad practice, but there are also references to industrial programming.
