The collection includes approximate work programs on the subject "chess", studied in the primary and basic school as part of an additional education program. The materials presented in the publication meet the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard and are aimed at the achievement by students of personal, meta -subject and subject results in the study of a chess game. The proposed work programs contain a methodology for teaching chess to children of primary and secondary school age, tested in a number of Moscow schools by specialists in the field of chess education and sports. Thematic planning of the program corresponds to the structure of the textbooks "chess at school" for grades 1-4 and 5-7.
