How closely is the history of world classical music with Christianity? In order to assess the true scale of the phenomenon, it is not enough just to track the main milestones of the musical story. A little closer, rather than usually, the view of the life and work of individual outstanding composers of the past speaks of the same much more eloquent. It was the Christian religion that was the rod and the power due to which great musical masterpieces were born. Without this close connection, the treasurer of world musical culture today would look impoverished. After all, the classic composers themselves simply could not imagine themselves outside the faith, even if the path of its acquisition was not always smooth. In the context of the relationship of Christianity and creativity in this book, the history of the life of 19 outstanding foreign and domestic composers who lived for three centuries is considered.
