The proposed set of textbooks for grades 5-9 was developed in the system of the scientific and pedagogical school of academician V. S. Kuzin and ensures the continuity of teaching visual arts in primary and main school.
A set of textbooks "Fine Arts" for grades 1-4 V. S. Kuzin, E. I. Kubyshkina was created on the basis of the classical traditions of Russian art education, at the origins of which P.P. Chistyakov, I. N. N. Kramskoy, I.E. Repin. At the end of the 20th century, visual art as a general subject was didactically adapted to the comprehensive school by the academician of the Russian Academy of Education, laureate of state awards V. S. Kuzin.
