The content of the textbook is aimed at developing the imagination, observation, creative potential of the child, the formation of an artistic view of the world around him. Students get acquainted with the initial concepts of fine art, the work of the best Russian and foreign artists. Much attention in the textbook is paid to the acquisition by students of the initial skills of work in various types of artistic and creative activities, awakening interest in drawing.
The teaching materials includes a textbook (printed and electronic forms), an album of artistic tasks "Beauty will save the world", methodological recommendations for the teacher, as well as instructions for installing, setting up and using the electronic form of the textbook.
